Following the results analyzed by nations league partners of Roland Garros, semi-finalist Jannik Sinner topped the ATP rankings for the first time.
He is the 29th player to become world number one since the ranking was introduced in 1973. For the first time, No. 1 became an Italian.
Alex de Minaur returned to the top 10, Stefanos Tsitsipas fell out of there. Karen Khachanov fell out of the top 20.
Pavel Kotov updated his personal record, becoming 51st.
Corentin Moutet moved up 23 places to 56th.
